An outstanding hotel in an outstanding city!
We stayed in a Club Level room for 6 nights and both our room and the Club lounge were as good as we had hoped.
The room had 2 very comfortable Queen beds and the bathroom was luxurious, as you would expect. The housekeeping staff were really efficient and we enjoyed the chocolates left every evening.
A real highlight was the Club Lounge where the food was delicious and the concierges were happy to answer any questions and enhance your stay with their local knowledge and readiness to facilitate tickets, transport etc.
Breakfast was plentiful and always beautifully presented, as were the evening desserts. The staff seemed to know just when to step in and clear away and dishes were always replenished before items ran out. Understated and super efficient!
The hotel was also in a great location for walking to Union Square and Chinatown and if you couldn’t face any more hills, you could get on a cable car just around the corner.
I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
